Club Competition at the Spa in Scarborough on Monday
We are led to believe there will be waves on Monday, hopefully not too onshore.

Competition will be held at Spa in Scarborough on Monday 26th May. Check in at
09:00 first heat in the water approx 10:00 tide allowing. The Points acrued will go towards the annual awards.
Don't forget the raffle prize.

British Longboard club championships
First, a big thanks to The Crown Spa Hotel for donating £250 for the event – this is greatly appreciated.Donations are still needed to help fund the event, which will cost the club a lot to hold.The club also needs new rash vests. These are required for all club competitionsAt
present with the tide forecast, the competition would be best held at
South Bay (the Council have agreed to reserve six parking spaces for
the event). Depending on surf conditions on that weekend, this could be
altered to either North Bay or Cayton Bay.Cayton Bay have offered their venue for the competition, but they will need to get permission from the Council
Secret spot / Cayton Bay ‘Paddle Past The Point’ Event
Tommo is hoping to hold a board paddle event from Holbeck to Cayton Bay.This is to high light recent events of cliff erosion in this area.Everybody
is invited and he asks for people to keep an eye out at their shops or
on their website for more details (the provisional dates are the 19th
& 20th July 2008)Next surf club meeting July 5th
