THE WAVES WERE A TREAT TO SURF IN THE 1ST ROUND OF THE HEATS ON SATURDAY BUT BACKED OFF FOR THE 2ND ROUND BUT STILL ALLOWED FOR A GREAT DISPLAY OF TRADITIONAL AND PERFORMANCE SURFING.
IT WAS DECIDED TO RUN ALL THE HEATS ON SATURDAY DUE TO THE WIND CHANGING THE CONDITIONS

Championships are On!

The forecast for the Championships this coming weekend looks superb. The general opinion is 3ft + and clean so we are expecting good overhead waves, with hopefully the wind easing and going offshore to hold up the wave.

All meet in the Main Spa car park at 08:00 hopefully the 1st heat should be able to go in the water at 09:00-09:30 as the tide goes out and leaves the wall. Read More...

Championships Moved to October

Due to the very poor waves forecasted for this coming weekend, we have had to defer the Championships to the standby dates of 4th & 5th October. We are fully aware of the inconvenience this causes and the decision is not taken lightly, but our option has been forced due to the fact there is no swell on the horizon.

BLU Results

Well done to Evan Rogers 1st in the Juniors and Tom Cross 2nd in the Juniors.The third round of the 2008 series was held this past weekend at Gwithian. Thanks to the Sunset Surf Cafe for sponsoring the event. The surf in the morning was a good 3-4 ft with it settling out at 2-3 ft. Read More...
